What’s a druzy, you ask? Strange name, yes, but it makes it easier to put a label on what I previously referred to as “the inside-geode sparkles.” Druzies, or drusies, are the tiny quartz crystals that form within or on the surface of other previously deposited stones and minerals. They’re beautifully eye-catching and they capture and reflect light in a way that makes me want to buy them all and adorn my body with them forever. I mean, what? Druzies are so pretty, and while designer takes on them can be pricy for sure, there’s plenty of stunning druzy jewelry out there that looks like magic and won’t make your wallet cry. What could be better than that?
